Poetry 17 lines
The chaos of splintered
beak and wing.
Through liberated shards
Of broken glass.
The crimson drip,
upon tainted feather.
Staining crinkled bough
and heartless
foreboding
Sodden ground.
Each proud beat,
of downy plumes;
lift hourglass eddies,
caught in the clouds.
A spinning,
tumultuous,
cage in flight.
