Poem about feeling trapped within oneself.
For a time, though only short, it seemed I had the world
So consumed by my happiness,
I did not notice the stars shining in the night sky.

Now I am here, with nothing but the cuttings of my memories,
writing a letter from my prison walls.

Let me go home to a place beyond the clouds,
Where I can leave the traumas of my childhood behind,
Where there is a world filled with beauty
No longer to feel the fear of this troubled world.

Let the sky fall down upon me,
Let it take me away to eternal rest.
