False accusations
At one time I laughed,
At one, who,
Had been accused, wrongly of assault.

Oh the irony,
I return from the visiting room as my father,
Goes home.

A senior officer gestures me to
Follow him.
He tells me, 'I have an accusation of assault.'

I say, 'I didn't accuse' he says, 'no, you are the accused'
I say 'who?', he says who.
I say 'what?', he says what
I say 'shite!', he says 'don't worry.

I think, 'oh fuck! Not again!'
The anger builds, how dare he?! I fume.
'Where is the justice?'

I laugh, not because it is funny,
But because of the idiocy.
Angry, sad, lonely I smoke.
I soon surround myself with those,
whom I trust for care,
whom I can lean on.

Without further accusation.
