She Could Fly

She could fly.
So bright-eyed with the entire Earth beneath her.
To see her is awe. Such as the strong wings that lift her.
Gliding, soring, and playing the sky like a harp.
A creature whose beauty commands the sky
and soft wings that reach for the heavens.

I could die.
My heart dropped every time that I saw her.
I look in awe. As, I had never known such a creation.
Dancing, singing, she's playing a song on my heart.
Her beauty and laughter took hold on the land
and she gave the gifts of a maiden.

She could fly.
Gliding, singing, and playing a song in the sky.
She looks in awe at the amazing world before her.
Her sparkling heart is fresh as buds on the vine.
In my minds-eye, and in my heart, I can still see her...
With her strong wings she reaches for Heaven!
