An invitation for dinner at her place
It's been quite a dreary weekend,
Stormy skies, windy days, and rain,
This Halloween, to my chagrin,
Saw all my plans go down the drain.
So home alone I'd planned to stay,
This nothing special holiday.

Early evening I got a call,
From Velvet, a beautiful friend,
In soft-spoken midwestern drawl,
A dinner invite she'd extend,
My fate may have found its way,
To a something special holiday.

I showed at six as we'd agreed,
In silk and satin, she greeted,
Her tender touch betrayed her need,
My inhibitions defeated,
We filled the room with love's bouquet,
This special sexy holiday.
