Time for one last round, drink deep
Last Orders

We're running out of time, she said
The sand is running thin
With all the things we should've read
and places where we've been

With half moons waxing over now
We're hunting for the day
A day where we won't disavow
and let such thoughts allay

This thirst that cannot be denied
Why do we hide such pains?
A lone attempt, together tried
The losses and the gains

A ledger running in the black
So safely figures hide
Behind such red ink, running back
to where our doubts reside

Running out of time, it's read
With all the things we've been
Go seek the space we've seen, she said
… for time is growing thin
