Memories of Ireland
This poem is entered in "The Writer's Cramp.

Life has its twists and turns
movies help facilitate imagination
To taste of something so rich and sweet would be grand
like a cappuccino in Galway

Great Southern Hotel in Kennedy now Eyre Square
above the noisy revelers
we caught a bit of sleep
and sustenance

Remember that trip to Ireland
starry-eyed and wistful
music stays in our hearts forever
as we age and sicken

All we need is a room somewhere
thinking about Eliza Dolittle
Comfort food to go with my beverage and take me home, beyond that ~~~
All I wanted was a little chunk of dark chocolate
