What a young Republican might do when not many people are looking.
I clicked with Dick,

I thought he was the one,

Now more than ever...

Oh, but there was another side.



I laughed at the mimics

who did his voice,

I even traded a pair of peace signs

with a pair of rad-libs while traveling

through a college town.


Spiro was my hero,

I pulled for Tricky Dick,

But Masters would have to know

about my musical "distilled spirits".



I was vulnerable when

I heard the Midnight Cowboy's

sad lament,

Like my youth, the song was sad and lonely.


Hope Tricia never knew
