How it may be if one closed off would open up, just a little.
With hair of brightest light yet a man of darkening night?

A walking contradiction.

Eternal chilled fingers with an icy touch and yet, are unable to reflect the fire within. A fire not given time to crackle before it is let loose in a blazing trail of steamed words or sometimes, flickering within a gaze.

This sun will only shine when the clouds part. But for that, it requires a key.

A key to his heart. A thorny, prickly exterior but inside, red velvety petals of a flower that has yet to fully bloom.

But once it does, the world will perhaps know of the day a single smile shook earth's very foundations.
