This is a love poem.
Like a child listening for her Father's voice
I am waiting to be lifted up
and held close to His heart.
I lift my arms and cry "Abba, Daddy, God".
He raises me up
way above the confusion of today
and the fears of tomorrow.
He embraces me and quietly whispers the words
"I love you".
