my poetry stitched together in progress poetry philosophical lullaby
mother god mobile
cloud around eyes nestled in darkness
billowing colours a preview of nightly dream
home in the crib
we don't have to be twins
to be best friends
mother god mobile
can't reach
and for better
we don't want the world to come crashing down
now do we little one
can't reach my mobile
toys on the shelf
crying for hours
cruel joke
baby there's a duckie shaped vacuum in all of our brains
and we will once re align with mother duckie
goodnight sweet duckie children
until hatched a new day
new day foretold in your dreams
dream well and be well child
i don't mean to shelter you
and i don't mean to worry you
oh child
