Carnivals, Ferris Wheels, and barf
Wind blows hair in face.
Feels like flying, up and down
A Ferris wheel dream.

Please don’t rock the seat.
Nausea lives on this ride.
Where’s the bathroom, please?

Mommy, please, let’s go!
The shouts of excitement grow.
I just can’t say no.

The town looks small, quaint
atop this monstrosity.
It’s almost lovely…

Except for the pain
Of motion sickness, oh no!
I’ve just shared my lunch.
