"Where do you go, life after tragedy?"
Laying here thinking about the pain
Picking up the broken pieces

My heart breaks more each day
As I pick up another piece

My body is heavy with sorrow
Yet another piece has fallen

Where do I turn without seeing
The pain and sorrow

Spinning out of control the tears spill out
Until I see what I need upon my dresser

I reach and turn the pages
That I've forgotten through the years

Then it returns the love within my soul
For He has never left me

Always here to help me
Picking up the broken pieces

Never forsaking His love for me
Mending my broken pieces back in place

I am stronger today for the love that He gives me
Mending my broken pieces
