These poems display the effect on the world if more love was expressed.
Deep Like the Ocean

Like the monotony of the ocean,
Near the horizon we both looked
While the waves continue in a circular motion
I knew I was hooked

And just like the irregularity of the crest,
In this repetition we create our singularity,
With this comes the calming sensation of rest
And I am brought a feeling of clarity.

Slowly we fall
Like the suns gradual descend on the sky line
Suddenly I feel ten feet tall
Knowing something so great is mine

From the outside it may seem little
But this; this is anything but brittle

Hate makes the world stop
but I choose the life of love;
one that keeps giving

If there were more love in the world, there wouldn’t be war.
There wouldn’t be fighting over differences.
The amount of controversy we face today
would have never started. if there were more love in the world
there would be less reasons to frown
and more to smile.
