Experimental writing about the sadness and beauty of life through the elements.
Psithurism, the sound of rustling leaves, wind in the trees. Standing still, we watch, we wait, we know we can't stay here forever, so we run towards the stars, bare feet on hot coals.

You say life is beautiful, but sometimes it's difficult to see through the flames. Smoke fills the void, and trying to breathe, we choke. Watery eyes, destroying lives, we carry on running through the fire.

Covered in moonlight, we stand together listening to the waves gently kissing each other. The beautiful power of the sea seduces us towards the edge. Water fills the lungs, plunging into the depths, down, down, we drown;

And now we fly, high above it all, drifting further into this wondrous sky. Don't forget to say goodbye to everything you leave behind. Raindrops falling from eyes, there is no more time.
