Oh my! Apple Pie!

Oh my! Oh my! Apple pies!
Is what I'll bake or buy.
As much as I wish or try
For this desert I cry.

As you can see
Apples come from a tree.
A piece for you and me
Makes us smile, I'll guarantee.

A flaky crust is really best
Please make it now, I suggest
With crossed pieces to ingest
That is my pie request.

Put ice cream on the top
That will make me smile and hop
