What happens when life ends and new life begins
Will you still believe while I am weak in
My faith. Humanity crushing the beauty
Around us. What a cynical imagery. Here’s to the fall
the perfect disguise while I struggle to believe.

Fear of the unknown while trapped in this
Damned mind. My demons are hunting me.
Will we ever start anew or is this the darkness
That I am bound too?

I fear the unknown, it whispers to me. I am
The God. Eating me alive, for I see through
This masquerade. A treacherous act for you to
Try. Very symbolic indeed.

I bow my head to the fall. The loss of this
Feeling I once had. Here we go has
The darkness settles in. Saturating the ground.
Giving us hope that a new life can start.
