A short satire about a troubled Queen
Queen of the throne
Queen of her lair
Queen of the flair
Queen of her home

Leave her be, watch her thrive
The pain did not kill her
Look at her, she's still alive

Her smile hides the past she doesn't want you to see
The Queen is of pain, so please just let her be

You lie and tell her she's majestic
As the scene becomes hectic
So she bids you farewell and calls you a beautiful liar
You think her a fool, but still address he as sire
Little do you know, that all along she's had you fooled
Her tormented soul is the only thing, the queen has ever ruled.
