A poem about me seeing my younger self in someone else
Today I saw my younger self
He held a wooden spear
Or was it a magic wand, a gun?
I do not know
I could not see what he saw
I could not hear what he could hear
But I knew exactly how he felt
To be on top of the world
To be in control
I said hello
He responded awkwardly
I know how it feels
When reality invades your fantasy world
And you feel like an idiot, playing with sticks
But do not worry
I am familiar with this world
So just keep on playing
