Another Day

On the Eastside of my corner
The sun rises above the horizon
The waves rush to kiss the shore
A new day about to begin
The warmth stirs the rested soul
And, slowly breathes life
Into every listless self

Just around, on the Westside corner
The moon and stars shyly play
In the twilight skies
As another day ends
Hums lullabies to the wearied soul
And. gently lays down
Every spirited self
