My view of watching a sunrise.
Sunrise

The sun coming up over the mountain makes a lovely sight
As the golden rays push back the remains of the night.

Abundant were the stars during the night
But the day’s beginning pushed them out of sight.

Fluffy white clouds floating in a sky of blue
Cause a myriad of shapes to be seen by me and you.

The sun’s heat comes down and covers the land
Shining down on all things not made by man.

The fragrance of the flowers floats upon the breeze
While the sound of birds singing echoes through the trees.

The water in the farm pond is quiet and serene
While in the meadow lies a field wet with dew and lushly green.

The early dawn wakes up the coming morn
And lets the world know another day is born.

This is really a beautiful sight to behold
And in our eyes it will never grow old.
