This is a love story from beginning to end. Let me know what you think
How might I love thee?

How might I love thee? Right now, I cannot say
For we are simply strangers, so I'm keeping you at bay
Two hearts broken before, why in each other should they trust?
At least until they know that it's love they intend to give, not lust

How should I love thee? I should give him a chance
My heart thought from the first moment, the very first glance
I could care for his heart, show him love that is pure and real
I feel like I've known him forever, but how does he feel?
We sat on the steps, and talked for awhile
Does he realize I melt, when I see him smile?
The night was dark but the city lights were aglow
On that cold November night, my love for him began to grow

How do I tell thee, the feelings I have in my heart?
The days seem brighter, except when we're apart.
Should I write him a letter, or to his face might I say?
What if he rejects me, if he turns me away?
It is said you miss the opportunities that you do not take
But is this a leap I'm willing to make?
Although what if a life of love my dive would start?
And all I need to do, is open my heart

How do I love thee? It's been three years since I let the truth flow
And yet even now, I don't think you truly know
You make the days brighter, and life more grand
You make cloudy days better just by holding my hand
The way you smile, the way you laugh, and when you ask me to dance
Looking back on it now, my heart's walls didn't stand a chance
The happiest day, was when you asked me to be your wife
I couldn't imagine a better person with whom I want to share my life
The good times, the bad times, the sad times too
Through it all remembering how much I love you

How have I loved thee? Now our time together has come to an end
Soon I will lose my soulmate, my lover, and best friend
It's been fifty good years, with memories of moments high and low
That is not nearly enough time, and from you I don't want to go
It's no longer years we have, but a matter of days
But time is irrelevant, know I'll be with you always
So how might I love thee, with love that is out of this world
With the purest of love, that started between two strangers, a boy and a girl.
