It's a poem about anxiety.
Anxiety

Heels are scalloped by the talons of the beast
If you do not move, she will open her snout
Salivating at your static self she wants to feast
Her acidic breath carries your hair to her mouth

As it’s time to move ahead of the past
The stalker emanates your deprecation
Her claws grab you if you are not fast
Your skin falls off in her exhalation

As the beast chews on the morsel of your life
The hope bleeds through the impending doom
If only you’d move from the internal strife
Maybe then you would escape your living tomb

With eyes fixed in the bustle of the world
The life inside of you is devoured by the unseen
You grasp yourself until you are furled
What you feel with anxiety feels very mean
