Spouses or lovers might have an observation that they should share.
Depression

Dear, I wish you were not so sad.
​Each day, I see the dark cloud that hangs over you.
Pulling you out of the chasm you are in, seems harder each day.
​Reaching inside you, I am met with a giant wall.
Enduring this is painful for both of us.
Some days I see the sunshine break through that dark cloud.
Some other times, your thoughts get jumbled or lost.
I wish for the good old days to come back, but
Only you can take matters into your hands for goodness sake.
Never forget, that I am on your side, loving you all the way.
