the reality of knowing the world
As she gazes off at the shimmering light of the sun, she hears the unforgiving whispers of sorrow in her ear. The whispers of the despairing reality of the world. As she gets older day by day, the unapologetic and contagious smile she had starts to slowly fade. Her feelings of anguish and desperation start becoming less of a feeling and more of her reality. She spends her time looking back and searching for the time when she was genuinely happy. The time when all that she radiated was love and hopefulness. But as the days grow older, her days grow darker, and the thought of happiness becomes merely a memory.
