swing through in a Welsh Gwawdodyn poem
When summer squalls interrupt our day,
we seize upon the chance to sashay
and splash our boots through those muddy puddles
underneath imposing clouds of gray.

Discarding paper mache pursuits,
kids bring rubber ducks in yellow suits
to ensure our frolic boat stays afloat
with dynamic praise: "Rooty-toot-toot!"

We sing and dance in refreshing rain,
hither and yon, up and down the lane,
imparting tons of sunshine to our hearts,
'til ev'ryone thinks we are insane.
