A Modern Fable
A wolf was walking through the woods looking for a meal. He came across a hedgehog.
"You'll make a fine meal hedgehog." said the wolf.
The hedgehog looked confused, "You must be mistaken, for I am not a hedgehog.".
"What can you possibly be other than a hedgehog?"
"Why I'm a porcupine!"
The wolf scoffed, "I have lived here all my life and I have never seen a porcupine. This area is filled with hedgehogs, you're just lying so I won't eat you.".
The wolf grabbed the hedgehog's leg and threw it in his mouth. He quickly spit it out, his mouth now covered in quills.
