A story of the burden of misery.
She swallowed me alive
Digest me in the deepest ocean
Somehow I’m still alive
Barely breathing, still in motion
I don’t want to die alone
But I can’t get this monkey off my back

I swim towards the light
Hopefully soon I will surface
So the crows can pluck my eyes
And I won’t have to search for purpose
I don’t want to die alone
But I can’t keep from slipping through the cracks
