A dark remembrance of someone who made my life difficult.

My Tormentor

By Scott S. Batchelor

Creep into that twisted fold you burrowed in my brain.

Pulse and throb incessantly until I go insane.

Whisper what you will until I start to answer back.

Eggshell fragile scrambled is the mind about to crack.

Push my luck down flights of stairs, the spine laid out and shattered.

Nothing will go right again for nothing else has mattered.

Whatever once my nature was got poisoned sick by you.

Paper thin my will to live, the moths have eaten through.

You have laughed for all my pain has brought you many smiles,

Every blister on my feet, you gave me these last miles.

You feast upon my suffering until it made you fat.

Tortures you've devised for me kept underneath your hat.

Riding on my shadows tail, your soul is black as tar.

Keep to Hell you spiteful bitch, burn below and far.
