I rise, but not like the phoenix.
I'm the ashes from the fire you lit.
I carry every burn, every scar within me,
my new form an ode to where I have been.

I fly, but not like a cloud
I'm the eagle that soars in the skies.
Not drifting with the force of wind anymore,
my flight, my wings are my own.
