A love poem - in free verse.
Angry spirits engage the crowd,
Riled and withered,
Yet burgeoning
With resolve.

A warmth so rich takes me
To a fortified castle,
High in the mountains
Of a forgotten place.

Known only as a wondrous gift.
An aurora beaming ecstasy
In every droplet of golden rays.

Coming sweetly towards me,
This newly-formed, sparrow’s nest.

A reawakening
Whose masterpiece
Exceeds a work of art.
