Prompt: "I’m taking a Bar Restore class today, which seems to be a slowed down, new take on regular barre classes. So your challenge today is to pick something you’ve previously written, take the main idea, and rewrite it. BUT if it was a story, make it a poem. And vice versa."

This poem is based on
 A Child's Story  (E)
This is a true story of an otherworldly encounter.

Children screaming at the door
Something appearing not there before
A child pleading for some help
Hands drowning him without a yelp.

He is telling his story now
He is conveying it somehow
He is planting it in my mind
He is revealing details hard to find.

Believing or not is your right
We were passing minds in the night
His hands touching me from the grave
His story and legacy I had to save.

He kept calling himself Joey
It was short for George you see!
