I go to nature to be soothed and healed.
Reflecting on a quiet place,
isolated and serene,
far from the madness
that sometimes overtakes the spirit.
There, the softness of the wind
penetrates the senses,
and with each intake of breath,
like the flash of meteors
that etch the sky
with whispers of yesteryear,
you perceive a glittering light
that renews the very core of your being.

There is a silent spot I go,
undeveloped and pristine,
away from the stress
that taunts and tugs and tears.
It is far from daytime din
and privacy fences,
and it provides a comforting peace.
Its very nature implores
a heartfelt sigh
and a longing to be near.
Essential stars define the night,
wherein your soul knows peace that silence brings.
