its about not caring for one another, about getting together as one race " the human race "
We are taught not to care, not to cry, show no fear.
We are living in ignorance, we are living in fear.

We are told to forget what we see everyday, not to notice each other but to just walk away,
So we step over the man who lies cold on the street, for he may seek from us kindness, warmer clothes, food to eat.

Then we hear a young mother lost her only son today, he was hit by stray bullets as he ran out to play.
We can justify nothing but with malice we say " sometimes things like this happen, it just wasn't his day ".

With time we forget that child that boy, who will never again bring his young mother joy.

And remember the man who lay cold on the street, he resides there no longer his heart fails to beat.

I wish as a people we would wake up have some faith and remember that for love hope is never to late
