A family battles over candy corn—double acrostic.
Cindy Ann came up with a bold tactic,
announcing, “I despise candy corn!”  A
new approach, one to agitate her clan
during the war, one which was always held
yearly—a right of the Sweet family.

Carl though, crawled up into the attic,
opined, “Corn is sure great! “ as his dad, so
red in countenance with ire, puffed air,
nearly fainting from lack of oxygen.

Wherein wife Annabel laid down the law:
Attention!  I’m going to the plaza—“
Ready yourselves, candy corn’s a comer!”

So, Annabel mused, Cindy’s tactic works.
