A poem for a friend that is fighting inner demons.
A man's life of cycles

Tumbling, Turning, head swirling
With one hand on the floor.
"Excuse me sir, here's your shoe "
As the man rises from his fall.
Falling, crawling this early morning
Might be best to walk on home.
"Excuse me sir, but clear the way. "
As a man tries hides his pain.
Good days, a bad place.
Now's a little grey.
A message in a comforting bottle,
It lies, as all is not okay.

Drowning traits,
inherited from a father.

But then the winners' mindset.
Takes a sip from his water bottle.
Tired, hurt, but pressure down and pedal.
This fall will not defeat him on his bicycle.
