It’s all about Canada.
Remarkable is Canada
beginning with Niagara Falls.
The animals are far from few;
brown bears, swift fox and caribou.

The Great Lakes form a boundary
between the States and Canada.
Lake Michigan exempt, of course,
as it is further from the north.

In Canada lies Hudson Bay,
an impact crater formed one day
when comets fell with energy—
and now it is an inland sea.

Oh Canada, so big in size,
much more than people realize.
Into the Arctic realm you go
to where the polar fierce winds blow.

So long ago your border crossed;
my memory of you not lost.
For fireworks we came to you,
because, back home, they were taboo.

In Canada the fishing’s great;
stark cabins in the woods remain.
Adventure in the blood for some;
the only access is seaplane.
