A free verse poem likening life to the making of fabric.
A thread slips into the space of seconds,
stitching them into minutes.
The thread twists and twirls into a cord,
which loops the margin of minutes
into solid spans of hours
which stack into days.
The fibers of the days
are woven into a tapestry of years,
thus creating the vibrant fabric of your life.
