a response to someone's poem, they removed it so i no longer have the original poem, sorry
i see a cloud of darkness
over head of me
i hear the city booming with rage
in the dead of night i hear every intricate sound
i lay restless
in the scratchy branches of trees

when no one believes
i say no words
i turn away
to hide my tears
i want someone to understand
and i think of nothing more than being free

no friends
no games to play
i sing a song of sweet sorrow
no money to eat
for no place would take me in
no knowledge i know
for no school would let me stay
no one hides with me in trees

i would
cry
cry until no tears could be shed
i would be nothing in this hectic world without you
my human person
