Relationship struggles.

You’re dead but not dead
And I still write you poems
Check all our old haunts
Your spirit lingers
I knew the you-me
We, superior to the rest
Comfortable in our conceit
In our us-space
We knew everything
We built a kingdom
Between us
And I couldn’t find you
For the crowd
So I forgot who I am
And you died
Again
