A poem written for my sister and my best friend.
Two Little Sunflowers

Two little sunflowers

stand by a lake

day after day,

kissing the sun goodbye

night after night.

Two little sunflowers

pelted by raindrops,

piercing through petals.

Clouds block the sun,

warmth and light long gone.

Two little sunflowers

still stand tall,

drenched and torn,

but still living.
