Think before you speak
You can never imagine the pain
Asking myself what you have to gain?
The words you said cut so deep
Hearing them replay as i fall asleep
Words so sharp they cut like a knife
Asking if this is really my life?
Words that scar, and words that burn
Guess I'm finally starting to learn
Your words are like dust, all around
Still they come from a common ground
Your words hurt, all though untrue
Knowing why they came from you
So here is where I'll leave my words unsaid
I'll keep them safe locked inside my head
There they will stay till long after I'm dead.
Sticks and stones break our bones but words cant ever hurt me?
If only the words you've said were scars for you to see.
Maybe your words you'll think of first
Because they hurt sometimes the worst..
