The earth speaks to us as a living being.
I am the world, I live in unending change.
Moving, growing, and dying.
My surface wiped clean by the hand of man is refreshed by my gentle touch.

I am man, changeless, unsympathetic, and cruel.
Forever changing, forever loving, forever growing.

I am both willful and subject to leadership.
I judge with a simple look, and that judgment is slow to change.

I am suffering, a double edge blade that slices through the invisible soul dissecting it into good and evil.
I know no bounds, I touch everyone, everything.
I bring humans together and rip them apart.

I am holocaust the absolute; I do nothing but endure and die.
Faces mean nothing, hearts are blank and sterile.
The end and beginning are one.

I am beauty.
The rose and thorn are my playmates.
Snow-capped mountains and golden plains are my children.
I live in the heart of man.
