Bushfires and the firefighters

Through thick, black smoke, a yellow clad figure can barely be seen. Undeterred he bravely faces that wall of flame threatening to destroy habitat, both of human and animal. Heat threatens to overwhelm, yet he prevails, fighting exhaustion and fear.

Along fence lines blackened figures of animals lie, they had no chance of escaping the fiery beast.

And still she burns this country of mine. We are failing, we need help.

“Thank God, it’s raining!”
