Not everyone has a perfect life.
What in the world is a person to do?
A poor child who has lived in a house, on the corner of a street, without a mother.
Common descent rules are forgotten, even in schools.
There are no passersby because people run to catch buses or taxis.
Homeless people live in cardboard hovels a few blocks down.
Innocence? Well that is never heard of around here.
The resident's lives are like two drunken people who collide on an ice skating rink.
Can anyone climb out of this rat infested hole?
With poor education and drugs instead of food, they stagnate.
What do you think?
Older citizens are used to it. They see atrocities from their porches.
But they still pray for a change
Yet, day after day their lives are the same.
What in the world is a person to do?
