free verse poem
burning eyes
flame quenched with tears

burning words
silenced response

trapped
no respite

Trust? yea
Faith? nay

their guilt breeds my guilt
I have failed

the just shall live by faith.?

yet my faith is weak,
am I not just?

no way out,
is there a way through?

dross encrusted life
thrust into the flames

what will come out?
when quenched by tears
