I try a book and put it down
I’ve been dyslexic for a while
I’ve given up the fight
I’m Jewish but I just don’t know
To read from left or right

The words look scrambled up to me
It is an awful plight
I try a book and put it down
And shut my eyes real tight

Closed Caption doesn’t work for me
It messes with my sight
So I can’t watch those foreign films
They keep me up all night

But I have found a new pastime
To my intense delight
Now I just look at centerfolds
And everything’s all right

Author's note: I'm not trying to make fun of this condition; I realize it is serious. But my mind is just a little weird. (Oh, and I am not really Jewish so you can't blame this on them.)
