feelings on the national pandemic
Their eyes stood
watered deep within

This shall pass they say
but will morning truly come again

A new day breaks
Same as the last

People left wondering
Has enough time past

This hiatus from life
Seems more like end

There I sit waiting
Longing for a friend

Waiting for life
To beat loudly again

Waiting and hoping
My passion for life wears thin
