Don't hold onto that anger, love.
Like a wildfire-
Burned too bright
-Now a pile of smoldering rage
Writhing just below my skin-

All I need is a breath-
A single taste of oxygen
Bring it to the surface

Fallen to pieces-
Never to be the same,
Super glued fragments,
Broken glass

Melted down to nothing-
Blown too full of empty air
Scattered to the wind-

Just an empty shell-
The carcass of a silent tree-
Suffer in the quiet- so no one hears

A drop in an ocean full of tears,
Drowning-struggling for air-
Eyes closed- full of fear.

A shooting star-
Crashing and burning
Feeding the self doubt-

Feet never leaving the ground
Constantly looking for home-
Forgotten in the lost and found

Late night wishes and fallen ashes
Pillow soaked in self loathing
Anger and sadness, boiling over

Heavens rain down
Lost in a daze
Disassociate- everything is fake
