The Real Value

WC 136



I love the guessing game. How much is it worth?

That old house? Not much.

That one? I’d pay you to move into it. We bought one like that. It was not worth the electric it cost to heat it, But we saw that it had good bones. It was like the girl in the factory that someone from the old days of the movies. The director discovers her and a movie star is born. But she had to have some work done, some fixing up.

So under layers of old plaster and paint we found a beauty of a home.

“How much is it worth?” A neighbor asked us that recently.

“Well, now that is hard to say. Are you able to put a price on love, sweat and tears?” was the answer we gave.
